Exploring the Horsley Valley Mills

This walk, led by Ian Mackintosh, of the Stroudwater Textile Trust, will identify historic routes and mills.  The Horsley stream worked these mills for over 500 years.  Discover how the locally made cloth was exported to China and the investment was made in buildings and machinery.

There will be some rough, muddy paths, and stiles and hills to contend with as you unravel the historic landscape.
