New Teeth for Old

After many decades it has been necessary to replace all the oak cogs on the waterwheel at Dunkirk Mill Museum. Here you can see pictures of the rotten old teeth and the marvellous new set made to measure by Millwright/Carpenter Karl Bettles. The work was funded by Nailsworth Town Council, on whose behalf we operate the Museum, with further grants from both Midland Mills and the Dyers Company to whom we are grateful – and also to Robin  Mitchell for guiding us through the process.

Rotten Teeth!
